Elon Musk has warned that Taylor Swift

The award is given to the event or person who has had the greatest impact on world events over the past year. Swift is the first to win the title based solely on “success as an artist,” but her win shouldn’t come as a surprise given she’s had a record-breaking year.

Their Eras tour has received unprecedented demand and is the second-highest-grossing tour of all time, behind Sir Elton John’s Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which has grossed an estimated $906 million to date.

Their album 1989 (Taylor’s version) sold 580,000 vinyl copies between October 27 and November 1. According to Billboard, it’s the fastest-selling vinyl record of all time since statistics were first collected in 1991.
“Taylor Swift: The Generation Tour” became the highest-grossing domestic concert film of all time in its opening weekend. The film grossed $92 million in its opening weekend and has grossed more than $200 million worldwide since its Oct. 13 release.

This year’s Time magazine shortlist includes Hollywood star Xi Jinping, Barbie and Musk, who won the title in 2021. Now he’s offering advice to the pop superstar based on his own experiences, warning her popularity may be waning.

Newsweek emailed Musk and Swift Thursday seeking comment.

On Thursday, the billionaire posted a series of tweets on X (formerly Twitter) congratulating Swift.

“Congratulations,” he posted. In another tweet, he added: “Popularity can go down after winning an award. I speak from experience lol.”

Musk held the title ahead of his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in 2022. He renamed the social media platform X and reduced the number of employees, which many believe contributed to his decline in popularity.

Musk has replaced billions of dollars in advertising with millions of dollars in subscription revenue. He also saddled the platform with about $1.2 billion in annual debt repayments.

Additionally, several major companies halted advertising after he publicly promoted anti-Semitic conspiracy theories. On November 15, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX responded to a post that read: “The Jewish community [sic] has a dialectical hatred of white people claiming that people no longer object to the applications they want That hatred.” wrote that this was “the real truth.”

Disney has long been one of Tesla’s top advertisers, and investors have distanced themselves from it.

Swift shared her Time magazine cover on Twitter, writing: “@samlansky has a beautiful way with words and I’ve enjoyed reading his articles for over a decade. If you’ve ever been with him Together, you’ll know he’s the best.” Type of person: Curious. Interested in. funny. Fascinating and mesmerizing. I had trust issues going into the interview, but I was happy to interview with him.

“Seeing Stevie Nicks, Greta Gerwig, Shonda Rhimes, Phoebe Bridgers, Na I was overwhelmed with quotes from people I admired and admired, including Natalie Maines, Kenny Chesney and Lucian Grainge. I was delighted that he spoke to the Madison and McCall fans; they were so eloquent, loyal and kind. I think back on this year and all the years before. I can’t express my gratitude enough.”

The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Sam Jacobs, said they chose Swift because she represents happiness.

“Every year has light and darkness; 2023 is the year of darkness. “In a divided world where too many institutions have failed, Taylor Swift has found a way to transcend boundaries and be a source of light,” he writes in Time magazine, explaining this year’s election.

He said what Swift has accomplished this year is immeasurable. He continued: “She is dedicated to giving value to people’s dreams, feelings and experiences, especially women who feel invisible and often undervalued.”

“Taylor Swift has created a world of her own while making space for so many, making her story a global legend and bringing joy to a society that desperately needed her. Taylor Swift is the 2023 Honoree Time Magazine Person of the Year.”
