Former US first lady Rosalynn Carter is said to be taking a break in Georgia

Former First Lady Rosalynn Carter will be laid to rest in Plains, Georgia, on November 27 and 28.

The public may pay condolences at the Jimmy Carter Presidential Library and Museum on November 27 and 28

Rosalynn Carter was a tireless advocate for human rights and mental health. She served as First Lady from 1977 to 1981

Ms. Carter will be remembered as a role model for women and girls around the world, who was known for her compassion and wisdom

A memorial service for Mrs. Carter will be held at Emory University’s Glenn Memorial Chapel on November 28 at 2:00 p.m.

Mrs. Carter will be buried following a private family service in Plains, Georgia.
